I actually prefer this so I can keep my cover all year around, but switch the insert out with something lighter in the summer. I do wish the zipper for putting the insert in was bigger to make it easier for switching out.

My daughter received this for an Xmas gift because she loves everything related to pugs. The quality of the cover and pillow cases is really nice and I think it will hold up for a long time to come. However, the downside to using any duvet cover is that the duvet will slide around inside of the cover and before you know it you have a piled up duvet in one end. To counter that from happening I put a few stitches in each of the corners to hold the duvet in place and that seems to work great.
